What a thrill to have been cast again in one of my favorite musicals of all time…’The Color Purple’ !!! This time, playing the role of the one and only….Sofia!!! It was an incredible journey portraying this dynamic character and also to perform in my hometown of Elmont, Long Island, where my love for theatre and the arts began!
In today’s climate, we must continue telling the stories of women who persevered, overcame adversity and built up just enough courage to stand up and say….”HELL NO” !!!
